Grades served: K-12

SLVUSD Charter School is a well-established school serving children in all grades. It offers seven distinct charter programs, as follows: SLV Charter 25 Homeschool Program, Boulder Creek Homeschool, Fall Creek Homeschool Trillium Learning Collective, Coast Redwood Middle School, Coast Redwood High School, and The Nature Academy. (Please note that Charter 25 Homeschool Program includes the Mountain School ISP, which is located on Old San Jose Road in Soquel. To contact Mountain School’s ISP teacher, call Maria Fahrner at (831)475-6812, ext. 24. This program serves grades K-6.)

Some of these programs are classroom-based and some involve home visits and support from a credentialed teacher. As a district school, SLV Charter allows students to participate in sports, music, and other activities run by the traditional schools in the San Lorenzo Valley district. High school students may enroll concurrently in classes at Cabrillo College, although because of recently increased demand, Cabrillo gives high school students the lowest priority in enrollment.

  1. Hi, I just found your website and it’s such a great resource- thanks for doing this. I noticed that in the public school options you don’t have Mountain School ISP listed. My kids attend it. It is part of SLV Charter 25, but located on the Mountain Elementary School site in Soquel. It’s a K-6 program that meets two days a week, Tuesdays and Fridays. Maria Fahrner runs the program- her contact info is 475-6812, ext. 24.
